Like educational institutions across the planet, Taylor University switched to distance learning mid-March 2020. ART253 Foundations of Photography suffered some major losses, such as not being able to learn basic studio lighting and how to finesse a glorious, high-end inkjet print. This gallery is a tribute to the diehard class that kept pushing, even from home, without whispering a word of complaint. The Immaculate Image is normally a printed assignment the we mat and hang with great care for the enjoyment and consideration of those passing through the Metcalf Center for the Visual Arts during finals week. Instead, in tribute, this class gets a globally visible online gallery instead. Please enjoy.
